Kit content
The miro Insight PoC kit contains the following items
- miro Edge LoRaWAN or mioty gateway (868/915 MHz or 2.4 GHz)
- miro Insight indoor air quality sensor
- LoRaWAN antenna for miro Edge gateway
- Ethernet cable
- USB power supply
How to get started
The miro Insight PoC kit is fully configured and setup for an easy start. The gateway and miro Insight sensor has been registered on a dedicated LoRaWAN network server (LNS) Instance. Data from the LNS are already forwarded to the dedicated dashboard instance.
To activate the devices and receive data from the miro Insight through LoRaWAN, please follow these simple steps.
Attach the antenna to the gateway and connect the miro Edge gateway to an internet enabled ethernet port using an standard ethernet cable.
Power up the gateway by connecting the USB power supply. Wait for about two minutes to allow for the gateway to connect to the LoRaWAN network server.
Proceed to step 2
Remove battery tab from sensor by pulling it in the direction of the arrow to start sensor joining procedure.
If there is no battery tab, the device is already activated and sending data.
Proceed to step 3
Log into the dash board using your credentials. For first generation of PoC kits use the legacy dash board.
Proceed to step 4
All sensor data will be forwared to the dashboard and will be visually presented. Please be aware, that for the graph to be properly built, it needs at least two measurement points.
Default sensor configuration is set to perform and send a new value every few minutes. You may have to wait 10 to 15 minutes until first data is apprearing in the dashboard.
