EVK-80-STM
P/N: DEV-FMLR-STEVK4
Overview
The EVK-80-STM is to evaluate FMLR-WL-STM module. The EVK is using a combination of STM32L4 MCU with a Semtech SX1280.
The kit contains:
- EVK break-out board with modules and jumpers
- J-Link mini programmer and cables
- USB cable
- 2.4 GHz antenna
Assemble the kit as shown on the picture above.
EVK Details and Getting Started
For details about pin out and jumper settings, see Pinout / Jumpers. Follow the Getting started guide to bring up the EVK and receive data over LoRaWAN. See also EVK-80-STM Schematics for more details.
The pre-flashed firmware is sending sensor data to a LoRaWAN network server. For payload documentation, see EVK Payload Format. The EVK-80-STM is using the legacy payload format.
Development
To develop on the EVK-80-STM we recommend to use LoRa Basic Modem. To program and debug, use the provided SEGGER J-Link mini programmer. See On-Board J-Link for instructions on how to use a J-Link debugger. The EVK-80-STM is providing a VCOM port over USB, as well.
Note
The provided SEGGER J-Link mini programmer is only intended to be used in accordance with the license given by SEGGER. This might exclude the development of commercial applications. See SEGGER website for more details.
