EVK Details and Getting Started
For details about pin out and jumper settings, see Pinout / Jumpers. Follow the Getting started guide to bring up the EVK.
The pre-flashed firmware is sending sensor data to a mioty service center. For payload documentation, see EVK Payload Format.
Development
See On-Board J-Link for instructions on how to use the programmer and virtual COM port.
AT Interface
The pre-flashed firmware offers an AT command interface for bidirectional mioty communication (class A device). These commands allow users to interact with the device, configure settings, and retrieve system information. For more information, please refer the AT Command Reference Guide.
Device Provisioning and Attachment
The device comes pre-flashed with keys. Use the AT interface to flash your own end point EUI, network key and short address. Mioty endpoints must attach to the network. Without attachement, the device will not be part of the network and data will not arrive in the backend. Use the AT interface to attach the device locally (AT-MALO) or over the air (AT-MAOA). To change the regional profiles, use AT-UP.
For more information, please refer the AT Command Reference Guide.
Button Press
A press of the user button triggers a sensor measurement of the temperature and humidity sensor and the accelerometer. The data is sent out via mioty after measurement.
